The poetic languages of dance by La Ribot and Mathilde Monnier and theatre by Tiago Rodrigues have initiated a dialogue that stages and explores the visions of two generations faced with the ecological emergency.
On stage, two women talk to their sons and daughters about the world to come, bear witness to its evolution and offer a vibrant reflection on a humanity that is heading for destruction… A confession about what each of them has been able to do to care for or preserve their environment, but also about what could not be done, the shortcomings, the admissions of failure.

” ‘So that bears can live, so that bees can continue to live, to avoid catastrophe, to continue to believe,’ to allow ourselves to dream. And the children respond… ‘Please, listen to me!’ “

Like a double figure, Mathilde Monnier and La Ribot dance this fragile transmission between generations: a dance of cockroaches, they are the elves that haunt the stage…The trio, as unique as it is inventive, aims to pool the most untamed fruits of their respective practices, as well as those born of their unprecedented encounter on stage, in order to better move them forward.
