A true everyday institution, markets are places for meeting and sharing.
With Danse au marché (Dance at the Market), Ambra Senatore and her fellow dancers inject an air of lightheartedness and set out to meet the city’s residents. Set up in the middle of an aisle, the dancers prepare fresh pasta. Their culinary gestures give rise to little dances to the sound of a gourmet playlist (Salade de fruits jolie, jolie, jolie… and other classics). These ingredients spark dialogue and exchange with passersby who have come to do their shopping. From their shopping bags emerge recipes or memories of meals.
