Bombyx Mori

A young choreographer, Delphine Gaud, a real talent to discover. Bombyx Mori is not an order, it is a reflection, a desire, a quest around silk, around its mystery and the fascination it exerts. A choreographic piece for four dancers inspired by this passion-madness which animated three women thieves of silk coupons at the beginning of this century and whose testimony the psychiatrist Gaétan Gatian de Clérambault collects the testimony. Silk is the fifth character in this piece. She is invisible but you can hear her. She tells us about her roots, her journey, the hands that shaped, touched, brought her, the families and the cities that she made prosper.
