Trans#lucide
Following “Appel d’air, ou comment les anges meurent par pudeur” (Airflow, or how angels die of modesty), Ballet Actuel presents its new creation, “Trans#lucide.” Choreographer Nathalie Bard continues her exploration of the carnal dimension contained within body language. Rejecting the notion of an overly superficial society, where communication between individuals is reduced to materialistic exchanges, Nathalie Bard establishes in “Trans#lucide” the imaginary rules of a new game, halfway between the sacred ceremony of ritual and the physical contests of an Olympic arena. The ballet thus deliberately becomes a ceaseless field of physical confrontation, fueled by a desire for fusion between individuals.
