The structure of the play is the repetition of the same scene-sequence, constantly changing with each iteration. Bodies hindered, sabotaged, always reacting, searching for physical organization. A work on adaptation… A play to endure…
The scene/sequence is sabotaged both by a series of small, successive modifications and by sudden, massive alterations or environmental disturbances. A staging of degradation, chance, unpredictable variations, and sudden mutations. A sabotage of the standardized, sexualized, predictable body… Showing exhausted bodies constantly forced to reorganize themselves.
Subjected to a relentless structure of transformations, the performers have no respite, since each time the scene/sequence returns, the adaptations give rise to a new version. The bodies are both attempting to emancipate themselves and, above all, engaged in constant innovation, since they must still organize themselves to face and endure the metamorphoses… How to persevere, how to resist?
