Petit Psaume du matin develops a gentle, grotesque poetry that testifies to an unprecedented encounter, that of the choreographer Josef Nadj with the famous interpreter of Pina Bausch, Dominique Mercy. Dressed alike, the two men gag each other and make each other drink, intertwine in all sorts of absurd combinations, apply make-up, assess one another in a series of ludicrous movements, before disappearing like two fragile puppets.
