Béatrice Massin entreprend une relecture du conte de Perrault. Avec La Belle au bois dormant, la compagnie Fêtes galantes propose un voyage dans le temps à cette Belle qui s’endort chez Lully et se réveille chez Mozart.
Béatrice Massin has undertaken a new interpretation of Perrault’s fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty. With La Belle au bois dormant (Sleeping Beauty), the company Fêtes galantes proposes this Beauty a journey in time where she falls asleep with Lully and wakes up with Mozart… Through the abstraction of dance, the tale reaches into what is most intimate in each child-spectator to allow them to make their way through their own tale. It is an ideal opportunity to reveal the wondrous as well as the timeless palette of baroque dance.
