45 enfants

45 enfants is an adaptation of the piece enfant by Boris Charmatz for 45 children from Orléans, Chécy, Fleury-les-Aubrais, La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, Châteauneuf-sur-Loire, Olivet, Saint-Jean-de-Braye, Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle, and Saint-Denis-en-Val.

enfant was created in 2011 for the Cour d’honneur of the Festival d’Avignon with 26 amateur children and 9 professional dancers. The play reversed the relationships between adults and children, professionals and amateurs, animate and inanimate.

In Orléans, 45 children between the ages of 8 and 11 play both adults and children. Ten workshop sessions culminate in a performance on the stage of the Salle Touchard at the Théâtre d’Orléans, exceptionally taken over by children with musician Erwan Keravec!
