Extérieur Nuit was the first dance film created by Franck Boulègue and Marisa C. Hayes’ company, Body Cinema. Shot at around 4 a.m. in the middle of nowhere, this work incorporates various elements that are dear to them. Starting with a hypnotic atmosphere, which is not unrelated to Japanese ghost films and butoh. Marisa C. Hayes studied this dance of darkness for two years in Japan with the co-founder of the movement, Kazuo Ohno.
