In Each Today is Yesterday’s Tomorrow, Youness Khoukhou puts his performance in Soleils to good use. This solo is enacted in a trance-like state, moving from one state to another, from one sensation to another, from one world to another. Signs are scattered like incantations, unconscious spurts redirecting power games. The performer dances from the profane to the sacred, summoning up the sensitive and the unexpected.
