In the deluge of images that includes us before we even realise it, we are tested like machines and everyday objects in every sector of economic and social life. Our bodies have become objects of surveillance, filmable and recordable. But not all the mysteries of human motivation have been revealed. While the failure of the political movements of the twentieth century transformed them into aesthetic objects, recent liberation movements show that a wind of revolt is still alive in the depths of human beings, capable of driving out those who force us into the silence of misery.
